LASER AND LIGHT
Laser or light energy is absorbed by pigment and fragmented.
In the case of melanin, physiologic processes clear the fractured
pigment.
Tattoo ink can also dissipate with exfoliation and through the
lymphatic system.
THE COSMELAN® PROGRAM
Acts by blocking the enzyme tyrosinase that
is needed for melanin formation.
GLYCOLIC ACID 70%
Thought to reduce the formation of melanin and
increase the dispersal of melanin.
